A Bible study specifically for faculty, staff, and graduate students.

Whether you are curious about Christianity, a new Christian, or a mature Christian looking to deepen your faith; this is for you!

We will alternate weeks between the Sermon on the Mount and Psalms, so it will be easy to attend every week or every other week. However, you are also welcome to drop-in whenever you can.

The leader for this Bible study taught full-time at the university level for several years and as an adjunct professor at universities in the fields of religion, philosophy, and the humanities. He has been a pastor for the past 15 years, serving in Merced for the last decade.

Wish you could join us, but this time doesn’t work? Email or text me. I’d love to offer additional Bible studies, as well as other gatherings. I also offer individual support as an unofficial chaplain to faculty, staff, and students.

Every other Thursday, we gather at noon to eat together and support each other as Christian faculty. Our primary goal is to build relationships and commit to pray for each other. We also have informal conversations about how we can love UC Merced, our students and colleagues, our academic fields, and our community for the sake of Christ.

Email ryan.bradley@intervarsity.org for more information or to be added to our email list for Christian faculty (and those interested in learning more about Christianity).

UC Merced Faculty Fellowship Lunches

We love supporting people, whether that is helping you connect your educational calling with your faith or helping you discover the God who cares about your deepest passions and commitments even more than you do.

Are you at home in local churches? Can you bring all of yourself to the university?

Whether you are a committed follower of Jesus, or are drawn to learn more about Him, it’s possible to feel far from either campus or church.

Meet With Us

Graduate and Faculty Ministry - In partnership with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship.

We form communities of faculty, staff, and students for community, prayer, and learning.

We also meet one-on-one as unofficial “chaplains” to the UC community.

We want to grow into a community of faith that members of the university will turn to learn about God or to grow in their faith.
